@lombaedi the leagues response I believe is that it doesn’t mandate any of these type of warmup jerseys so it appears the islanders just made it up

@mattbarlowe The articles say that as well. I think its weird to single out teams when the league won't mandate the jersey like other causes because of its Russian players. Anger should be directed at the league for its pandering to xenophobic and racist Russian players.

@mattbarlowe Yeah but it won't. Fans will feel good about calling out teams while cheering on players who hang out with putin and openly endorse anti-queer agendas. The duplicity is so weird.
