This is a very dangerous water crossing as it is covered in slippery algae. These are our 2 bikes after we picked them up. We didn't expect the slippery surface, so we both fell down. Luckily, we didn't sustain any injuries (thanks to good motorcycle protective gear) and our bikes received just a few scratches on the crash guards.

Funnily, we met another group of riders in a local town who had fallen into the same water crossing trap. One of the riders broke their motorcycle's left foot peg and gear shift lever. They weren't that lucky. This event highlights once again the significant importance of motorcycle protective gear and crash bars/sliders.
