History is a GiftWilliam Morales was born #OTD in 1950. After college he became involved in the Armed Forces of National Liberation (FALN), which took direct action in support of Puerto Rican independence. With FALN, he helped with as many as 50 bombings, but ended up accidentally blowing up his own hands, getting arrested, escaping jail, and fleeing to Cuba.
