@darwinwoodka local farms often sell eggs along with their produce. YES, you will pay a couple more bucks, but the eggs are fresher, more delicious, and the hens who lay them live much better lives.

I have been buying only #organic #eggs for ages, ever dince there have been brands that protect male offspring, I am incorporating this in my decision-making on top of #BuyingLocally to reduce #FuelConsumption.

Oh, and eating more #vegan food does help, too.

There is a lot consumers can do through their purchasing decisions.

It is good for #AnimalHealth, as well as #PublicHealth.

@Pece @darwinwoodka Nope. I'll never go vegan. I don't like or tolerate most fruits and vegetables, so I might as well starve if I were forced into a vegan diet.

@meow2u22 @Pece I feel for ya! Just had a hot chocolate with oat milk and it has really ticked off my stomach. Probably maltose. I've gotta go back to milk milk! Funny hubs has the opposite problem but he's weaned.

@meow2u22 @darwinwoodka I am sorry to hear that you are unable to tolerate fruits and veggie.

Fruits and veggies are so good for you and you don't need a #vegan telling you that. A liberal carnivore has definitely given me a mental backflip as I associate most carnivores with the conservative camp. I personally don't have a problem with anyone from the left or right, though anyone harming animals, whatever party they associate with, makes me sad (but that's just my #veganism talking).

And there are definetely a spectrum of vegans out there. Have you had bad interactions with vegans in real life or online? Online definetely brings out the worst in people, though it is not as bad here as the twitter cespit when it comes to online discussions.
