@miketango nope. It wasn't a thermic day (as usual during winter). During the first flight of the day, there was still more wind (sufficient for some ridge soaring), but for the second flight (in the video) the wind weakened. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have flown to the leeside of these peaks 🙂
