I have done this, tweaking the script, both to vary it and to convey some personal opinions. This is what I sent:

"Iโ€™m a white woman from CA, urging the College Board to reject unsubstantiated objections to the proposed AP African American Studies curriculum by the Florida Department of Education. The curriculum has been designed with the input of respected Black scholars and long-standing AP principles and practices to conform with the College Boardโ€™s standards. To change the curriculum based on spurious objections from Florida impugns the scholars who designed it and the people whom it represents. Please preserve this outstanding curriculum. It is of critical importance to the education of our nationโ€™s youth and prepares them for the real world."
