Avrip Zhavar👋 Hi folks it’s been a long time since I have not given an update on my #writings. I have finally started to work on the revision of the sci-fi novella I wrote last #Nanowrimo. It was difficult to get back to it after such pause. I did many reread and in the overall I like it enough to work more on it. There is, of course, a lot to rewrite and change to do, but that doesn’t discourage me. I plan to self publish it around April. Current state: Chapter 1 Done ✅ My current revision method ⬇️
For the moment I settled on 3 steps into the first wave of revision.
1/3 - Correcting all grammar errors and rewriting stuff I don’t like.
2/3 - Try to improve the pacing and the dialogue.
3/3 - Improve the story with better descriptions and check that all character’s behaviour are consistent within the whole story (I try to be in their skin, to think like them whether they are good or bad people).
4/3 - Reward myself with a nice Genmaicha Tea while watching Gundam Anime 🫖😁 #writingtips
