@crv @smitty That is how I “hear” it, too: the “oh hi!” standard. Seems appropriate, what with the focus on voice comms through microphones.

The OHI standard = OHIS. Tell me you already twigged to this, @smitty!

Anyway: looking forward to learning more as this evolves.

@crv @kj7t I did think about that. Though my brain usually goes to “Oh Hiss” as a pronunciation. Which is why I usually pronounce all the letters. Oh Ache Eye Ess.

@wd9gco I lived through the Under Construction GIF period once. Like mullets and Hammer Pants, I have no desire to see them come back into fashion.
