With 88% of the vote counted, it seems to be a landslide victory for Liberal Petr Pavel in the Czech Republic against the populist candidate Babis in the national elections.

In recent weeks, Babis has run an increasingly desperate and agressive campaign that many people around the world will recognise. Pavel didn't rise to it. The Czech Republic didn't fall for it.

Populism continues to be increasingly unpopular.
