Just learned about #TyreNichols and while I've said it out loud, I've never put it on the internet: #ACAB

I'm not going to come here and spread Black trauma and then go back to regular life. #BlackLivesMatter long before they're snuffed out by police brutality. In the comments are some ideas on how you can walk the talk of #antiracism

1. Learn about the bigger issues
a. White Supremacy Culture; White Fragility
b. What makes racism systemic
- Medicine
- Employment
- Housing
- Education
- Finance
c. Microaggressions
- What the impact is
- How to recognize and respond to Microaggressions when you see them

Etc! The point here is to pursue education yourself

2. Get (appropriately) involved in your (Black) community
a. Patronize Black-owned businesses
b. Volunteer with organizations that serve the Black community
c. Start or join existing Black #EmployeeResourceGroups or #AffinityGroup as an ally-- and remember that #AllyIsAVerb not a label you give yourself
d. Join or contribute to Black professional organizations in your field of expertise, I promise they're out there (i.e. #NSBE )
