Reminder to folks who have been on the @ivory Alpha: you can get the live app, subscribe (I recommend the Premier tier), and then switch back to the TestFlight train. It’s easy to do, and is very likely appreciated by the folks at Tapbots given the Twitter shitshow.
And now I will disable notifications for the remainder of the day. Thanks, @gruber 😂
@darrylhthomas Not sure if I should say “You’re quite welcome” or “I’m very sorry”.
@darrylhthomas oh good point. Do you do that by installed the store version, subbing and then downloading the TestFlight again?
@darrylhthomas Is this how you jump back into beta testing after installing/subscribing? This is the first TestFlight app I’ve been heavily involved with for some time. I was half-expecting I’d have both versions installed but i guess not. XD Thanks!
@cooner @darrylhthomas Yes, TestFlight will replace your App Store version. If you download the App Store version, then it will overwrite your TestFlight version.
@darrylhthomas @ivory @Mattmaber I was able to subscribe from with the alpha. In fact, I had to, because it wouldn’t let me post without subscribing.
@thereisnocat the TestFlight subscriptions are just for testing and will not be charged
@darrylhthomas @ivory And the reason for switching back would be to still participate in testing of future beta releases?
@brixmeister @ivory yes. Though as I understand it, they will have fewer testers in the future, so I can’t say what that means for you.
