#evince (#gnome's #pdfreader) is really nice, but I am using it with a file that is has around 100 pages and gets recompiled (it's based on #LaTeX) every now and then. Then evince freezes. So now I have to use #xreader which is sad...

Maybe someday #linux will have a real #acrobatreader alternative...

@d2ns That's weird. I used #atril (Maté's fork of evince) for my thesis which was 250+ pages and full of graphics, and it didn't crash at all. My tex build script would copy the resulting pdf at the end, so I could still view it while it was compiling.
@d2ns It hangs during/after recompile? Maybe you can provide a minimal example of problem that could be easily reproducible and create issue with evince app?

Linux lost, and Adobe won... linux will never have full access to docs which use proprietary Adobe fonts
