Apparently an navy pilot during the Korean War was engaged by multiple _Soviet_ MIG-15’s and managed to shoot down 4 of them in his F9, and kept it quiet (the #USNavy knew as did #eisenhower ) amid concerns it could trigger WWIII
He’s got a #navycross for it on Friday …70 years later:
(Hilariously they thought he only shot down 3 until Soviet records were released in the 90’s)
