Next time I fly over to #Taiwan will be in March for the #TaipeiCycleShow - which is Asia's largest #bicycle trade show and the 2nd-largest worldwide.
Right after the show, I have been invited for a four-day trip that should be truly awesome:
We'll be picked up by a van from Nangang Exhibition Center in #Taipei and shuttled down to the Wujie tribe in #Nantou district.
On day 2, we'll ride the Wuba highway on mountain bikes, on day 3 along the Zeng Wengxi river on gravelbikes. #travel 1/2
On day 4, we'll be shuttled to #Tainan to first check out the historic #Anping district and then go on to the new company headquarters and factory of Kind Shock. This will mark the end of the four-day trip.
Looking forward to that one a lot as thus far I've never made it to Nantou, which is a hilly part of Taiwan with plenty of jungle and tribal lands.

@bikejourno do you know if anyone with a go pro would record the ride?
@grumpasaurus
Not me, but probably there will be some folks with GoPros.

Back in 2018 we did a similar trip, riding the mostly man-made Longjing trails in Taichung on day 1, some military training area close to Tainan with lots of sandy sections and high grass on day 2, the infamous Jin Shuei Ying old trail connecting Pingtung to Taitung county on day 3 and Kaohsiung's Monkey mountain on day 5 (morning). On day 4 we hiked the Alangyi historic trails along the Pacific coast. That entire trip was unforgettable - #Taiwan off the beaten tracks. #travel
@bikejourno a one piece fan?
@grumpasaurus
Mainly of the One Piece-themed cycling jerseys, not so much of the actual manga. They are made by Taichung-based Ohio Sports, and they are really exotic and standing out in Europe.
Got two short sleeve jerseys, one long sleeve jersey, a neck warmer and arm warmers with One Piece themes.

More pics of me in OnePiece #cycling jerseys - on the East coast of Sicily in Catania, in Taichung and somewhere in the Swiss country side.
