@pondball Sounds just like in the United States. I expected better from Canada, where at least you have health care for everyone. I don't know anything about that hedge fund but we sure have a lot of evil businesses.
@rchusid it used to be better. A previous PM (Harper) opened up the floodgates for foreign ownership of our #cdnmedia. Now we have the vast majority (estimated between 75 and 80%) of our MSM is owned by outside interests, most through hedge funds, funded mostly by foreign RW billionaires and organizations. Heavy ties to the Sinclair group, PostMedia swallowing up small town papers and other major outlets. PostMedia, owners of the National Enquirer turning everything into a tabloid. Sickening!
