I need your watercolour paper recommendations!

I'm looking for paper with very specific properties. It's for Polaroid emulsion lifts, but in this case I want to be able to photograph them to reproduce as prints, with the paper basically disappearing.

So I need:

- A nice bright white colour

- Very smooth surface with little to no texture at all

- Holds up well to soaking in water

- Available in A5 size or similar

Thoughts?

@moragperkins It's been nearly 20 years since I did Polaroid transfers, but when I did, I used Arches Hot Press, you would want the "Bright White" variety.

I've never used this version, but Fabriano Artistico Extra White Watercolor Paper claims to be the purest white available, and you would want hot press there also.
