BREAKING: Amazon is cancelling Amazon Smile, the charity program that donates a portion of your purchases to the charity of your choice. I was just notified as a nonprofit director. The last day is Feb 20, just a few weeks from now.

@Smootasaurus Considering the AmazonSmile thing was just based on the Paypal Giving Fund framework, and they didn't really have to do anything to maintain it.

My expectations were low, and they still messed it up.

@Smootasaurus I just got an email about this, too. Um, spreading things too thin and not making a difference? Then how about contributing a larger percentage of your profits, or matching instead of ending the program entirely? Ugh.
