To add a bit more detail, since people are asking: My understanding, per posts on Twitter Blind, is that employees were escorted out at 5P local time Wednesday.

@caseynewton Interesting. I used to work in that area. The office space around there isn't cheap.

Also, it appears that Elon have learned that it's a bit harder to just ignore paying your rent here compared to other places.
