I love that whenever I dig into a new #TheExpanse #book. I canβt put it down.
I also instantly want to re-binge the show. I miss my space family.

@nickspacek nice! yes - delightful reads. Highly recommended.
I also have Jemisin on the go (book2 of Broken Earth) and omg I keep trying to read Sanderson but can like - never get one going without giving up lol.
@natejung I havenβt but Iβll check it out.
I lied. I have finished ONE Sanderson, #TheEmperorsSoul - I did like that one.
@craftykraken I loved the books! Especially the fact that there are nine of them and they somehow manage to get better over time. π The books also brought me back from irregular casual reading to regular reading.
I don't have much love for the show (yet?), though. The books are heavily character driven while the show is almost only plot. Most crucial decisions that are heavily debated in the books just ... happen. π
At least so far, I'm currently a few episodes into season 2.
@Sven i completely understand this. There is so much space (heh, space) to build these incredible characters and relationships with the novels.
The show is good in its own way, but agreed, very plot driven. A lot of that is the history of the show though too. They had to fight to stay on air so Iβm sure that impacted the writing. HOWEVER that they managed to stay as true to the books as possible is quite something. The things that change are really only to help adapt it to a TV medium.
@13mike31 I am on Nemesis Games (like half done) β which is book 5? I think. I think the final season was a smash up of book 5 and 6β¦
I definitely need to rewatch. I used to re-binge it all prior to when I new season dropped.
