Well, that was an adventure. Made it to Auckland okay, but I had forgotten about things like "humidity" and "hills" when I decided it was a nice short stroll from the airport shuttle stop to my hotel. Made it, sweaty and tired. And then my credit card declines.

No idea why, but their chip & pin machine wouldn't accept it. Had to take another sweaty uphill walk to an ATM to get cash. 🙃 Let's hope that was a fluke. Will have to try it somewhere else tomorrow. #Samventures
