@tomorohhidari @temere I came here to say the same thing. I think people have a mistaken belief that things like overdone autotune (or anything else that makes a voice sound "digital") are all "vocoder". It feels quite weird to those of us who know exactly what a vocoder does. A vocoder is actually rather analogue in nature.
@miketorr @temere have to admit I lack the graphic skills to illustrate, but a vocoder would be using the dog's dynamics at various frequency bands to shape the dynamics of, say, a cat at the same frequency bands. (or vice versa. it's creating a hybrid, not pixelation i.e. bit reduction
