Dr HitchcockI’m in the market for an #analog #drumMachine although something which can also be the brains of my live setup would be great too. I currently have a #Novation #CircuitTracks but am feeling the limitations now. At this stage the top of my list is the #Elektron #Syntakt. It’s in my price bracket, got analog drums, as well as synths and can also be used to control external gear.
Something that can dump stems or output separated tracks via SD, USB or audio output to mixdown in #Ableton would be nice.
Number two currently on my list is the #Korg #Drumlogue. That does analog and sample based drums but couldn’t be the brains.
Joshua Davis@drh #Syntakt is a great device. It's really fun to use, and you can multi-track capture it to your DAW with #Overbridge (works fine). Personally, I just have so much fun using 'ctrl all' live to tweak the synth params and then resetting everything with the reload command.
