Seriously, this is what life with Polaroid is going to be like isn't it?
9 out of 10 frames are going to be a bit 'meh' with weird colours but then suddenly 10th frame is a pure moment of magic that will grab your heart and give it a good squeeze until you just have to make more Polaroids.
OK so the Polaroids upthread might need a bit of context!
Of course it's all the fault of @ShittyCameraChallenge, again - this is the #1990sCameraChallenge #FloppyDiskSquad #InstantRegret mash up you didn't know you needed!
Started with a Sony Mavica shooting extreme close ups of a Christmas ornament onto floppy disk (yes, really), small amount of colour adjustment in Lightroom gets you to what I posted yesterday. ... then put them through the Polaroid Lab and somehow magic happens 🧙♂️✨😍
Here are the Mavica versions from yesterday. Same photos, same colours, this is just what the Polaroid Lab does!

Attached: 1 image Start 2023 as you mean to go on...getting as close up as you can with the worst camera you can find! Turns out if you get close enough you can even coax interesting photographs out of a Sony Mavica, despite it's best efforts to ensure otherwise. Billthoo@moragperkins I think that’s the difference with instax. Instax just works every time, but you need to work for the magic. Polaroids are just not great, but when it works it’s just so beautiful.
