I love these covers from the 2022 reissues of two books by Bette Howland. I wish I'd come up with a concept like this before I started doing my series of journaling games as zines.

Also, why don't ttrpgs have guest introductions?

Someone on Twitter replied to suggest guest afterwords where some other designer writes about their own play of the game.
And I love that idea.
In The Ink That Bleeds I write about my play of lots of journaling games. I could totally write guest afterwards for games if I played them.

@PaulCzege I treated _November Metric_, my setting supplement to _The Sprawl_, like an academic edited volume, with an introduction by myself and chapters by the various authors. Not quite the same, but in the same family. There's a lot of stuff from regular publishing that doesn't happen in TRPGs because of the fan origins of most TRPG publications.
