I have to do a piece on the characteristics, strengths and weaknesses of #Psychodynamic theory which is due in in a week & do you think I have the brain capacity to deal with this? Something I call Christmas Brain Fog is currently afflicting me. I'm sure many of you can relate.

P.S. Any things you can throw at me to get me started would be appreciated 🙏🏻

@MrsH All psychotherapeutic frameworks are a reflection of their creators and so all are flawed in some way, just as we are all flawed as individuals. As an example, Freud came up with the idea for the Oedipal Complex as a way to explain his own lustful feelings towards his mother ... apparently. Over to you ...

@MrsH At least you're not having to write about Melanie Klein. That's an essay I'm glad I never have to write again.
