@dnanian This is one of my favourite Dylan albums (probably second only to Blood on the Tracks and edging just ahead of Bringing It All Back Home).

#VisionsOfJohanna is hands down my favourite Dylan song… ‘The ghost of electricity howls in the bones of her face…’ Just perfect.

I’m lucky enough to have a first press UK mono and the recent MoFi 45. Inspired by your toot, think I may give it a spin next :)

@AndyT I'd flip those two - I prefer the eclectic nature of Blonde on Blonde, and its general weirdness, to the slightly more conventional Blood on the Tracks - but it's hard to argue either way when you're talking about albums of this general quality!

@dnanian I too love the variety on Blonde on Blonde, but I find Sad Eyed Lady a bit of a slog sometimes… Which I know is heretical on my part 😬 Whereas Blood on the Tracks feels perfect.

However, I totally agree - both albums are so spectacular, it’s quibbling to try and rank the two.
