@tiffanycli We have the most beautiful train station here in Boise, no trains. We have such a beautiful country to see by train and it’s a real shame it’s so hard. Would love to have a high-speed train to SF from here.

@ev We have the best free and public national parks in the world. Every kind of landscape you could want. But we can’t get to places.

@tiffanycli I took this shot of Mt Shasta out of the back of an Amtrak train in 2004 when I bought a 30 day pass. It was a glorious trip and I met such interesting people. It really is a lovely way to travel.

@ev @tiffanycli I spent a week in Japan with a rail pass and came back incredibly jealous, but I do love the back window of an Amtrak train.
