Not just a problem in the US. I've seen several local newspapers here in #Ottawa, both community and city-wide versions, shrink or disappear. Good local news coverage costs money, but there are now many other choices for people- many not as good, but they are free. I'm not sure what the solution is, or if enough people even care anymore.

@DEWLine Well, we had the Citizen, but that's Postmedia now and much is done from Hamilton. I'd like to see community newspapers again too.
