Halfdan ReschatWhile searching for what I referred to as "nevertheless, she persisted" horror films, I found The Invitation (2022).
A great horror/thriller film, with some decent "final girl" energy - at least towards the end. It wasn't quite up to par with similar films like Ready or Not (2019), but I still very much enjoyed it.
That being said, having The Shredder from TMNT officiate the weeding did kind of seem like a stretch too far. 😝
