@godzila I remember reading about another group who was dumping iron into the oceans to stimulate algae growth and slow global warming. There was a lot of opposition, but I couldn’t find hard research or scientists (that didn’t seem extremely biased one way or another) to explain the pros, cons, risks, or likelihood of succes.
@Derekhardwick Will have to look it up. #geoengineering requires much more will of the Govts. There are no equivalents of Oil lobby on Climate side. Environmentalists are seen as annoyance. The swathes of surface to cover to minimize impact of greenhouse emissions is enormous. Startups taking on such challenges is admirable but they need a lot more backing.
