This is a promising development for redress for #ConstructionDefects but the devil will be in the details. Retrospective application of the legislation will be essential. And we need to revisit the self-certification process that led to these problems in the first place. The 2014 Regulations that Phil Hogan brought in do not fully address the problem. #BCAR

@ccferrie Inspectors from all areas of construction have a lot to answer for too. But yes, this is promising.
