What's a weird/unusual roller coaster design element that can make or break a ride for you?

I'll go first.

Designers don't always take into consideration the pacing of a ride anymore, instead opting to cram as many tricks and stunts into a ride as possible. (I realize this is sometimes at the request of the buyer.) A coaster should tell a story and pacing is important.

My $0.02 - I have a bad feeling the RMC Wildcat at @hersheypark is going to have pacing issues and I'm not going to love it.

@onceuponacoaster @hersheypark This might be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like gratuitously long runs of airtime pops at the end of a ride kinda take away from the larger more impressive elements of the rest of the ride. Looking at you Steel Vengeance 👀

@GandalfDG @hersheypark I would say it's an unpopular opinion, but you're not wrong in having it

What do you think of bunny hops in the last half of old classic wooden coasters? Yay or nay?

@onceuponacoaster I think those are less of an issue as they're more of a continuation of the types of elements woodies are best at, and it's cool to see how fast you're still going by the end of a layout. In the case of steel vengeance it feels more like they were chasing that total airtime record at the expense of throwing in another roll or wave turn or something more unique
