@Therealbigal It's a bit disturbing to find an 'ancient tradition ' that didn't exist when you were born.
@munchkinstein When my parents moved from England to Scotland in the 50s, they were staggered when the coal man came to make a delivery on Christmas Day. But it was just a normal working day as far as he was concerned.
@baz My Mum used to deliver post on Christmas morning as they took on extra staff for that day.
@munchkinstein But you still get 2nd Jan as an extra
