The traditional name for the 8th day of Chanukah literally translates to "THIS IS Hanukkah."
Had the pleasure tonight of hosting some friends & family. We made Latkes, fried cheese, and donuts. On top of it all, hanging out with loved ones, to me, truly felt like yes, THIS is Ḥanukka.
In the Hasidic traditions, tonight and tomorrow isn't just the last day of Chanikah. It's the final day of the High Holidays. >
