After freder found out he's slowly shrinking, it seemed reasonable to keep track of this on the wall - it's like growing up, but in the opposite direction. It's exciting! …or at least the fennec's friend thinks so.

A brief intermission before the finale:
Once you shrink past a certain point, you wind up seeing a lot more of the world from the ground up, including the underside of this data-fox's paws. Freder is finding this out first hand.. or first foot?

Yoink! Turns out this "shrinking" genetic mutation reacts to being startled, and like any good, playfully-overwhelming friend, this data-fox gotta have some fun with that. Better for freder to shrink when someone's there to care and catch him!

@Austin_Dern Yeah! A new, rare condition that just so happened to impact @freder yet somehow nobody has ever heard of it before…

Such a shame there's no known cure - by the time one is found, the tan fluff of freder might get mistaken by others for a grain of sand caught in the groove of a single one of my paw pad imprint whorls/friction ridges…

@Austin_Dern I haven't heard any complaints from @freder .. come to think of it, I haven't heard anything lately. Maybe that fennec got too small to easily hear…

Fortunately, as a synthetic fox, I'm immune to most contagious things! Though I am still susceptible to other.. interference, so I'll stay vigilant for unplanned dimensional reductions.
