If you invested in Web 3 one year ago, today it’s worth Web 0.87.
@sandofsky I didn't know you can do this with two fingers in Stocks 🤯
@sandofsky …too early in the morning to have math in your puns. 🙃
@sandofsky Oh my god, your profile photo 😅
@sandofsky come on, we can do better, $1,197.37 to go!!!
@sandofsky looks pretty similar to Tesla stock or any other stock or Nasdaq because it's a freaky shitty time. Compared to two years ago it looks very different. Because two year ago it was 200, now it's 1100. Not sure what you are saying here. Except for you don't seem you like crypto.
@grobmeier @sandofsky crypto isn't the problem. Blockchains are the problem. Crypto currencies based on block chains (which is 98% of them) have a constantly increasing energy usage. The longer the block chain gets, the more energy it takes to validate it. At this point more than 50% of some nation's energy consumption goes to crypto mining. Directed Acyclic Graphs are significantly more efficient in terms of energy consumption, and much faster.
@corscaria @sandofsky good point but there are also energy efficient chains as you mentioned. Honestly I don’t support bitcoin because of that
@corscaria @grobmeier @sandofsky Proof of work doesn't require more energy for longer blockchains, only when competition increases does the energy required increase. This is why I think people already invested in proof of work blockchains should divest into cleaner blockchain that use proof of stake.
@sandofsky Ouch, at this rate, we'll be back to Banyan networking by July.
