Visit of Zelenskyy to the White House falls on the 300th day since #Russia invaded #Ukraine, notes President Biden, adding that Ukrainians have an unbreakable determination to stand up to the imperial appetites of Putin.
"The American people are prepared to have us stand up to bullies," says President Biden. "We've not done it alone."
#Ukraine "has defied Russia's expectations at every single turn," notes President Biden, adding Putin "has no intention of stopping this cruel war."
"It's going to take some time to complete the training" for Ukrainian forces on Patriot missile batteries, says President Biden.
"Russia is using winter as a weapon" by freezing and starving innocent Ukrainian civilians, including children and their families, says President Biden.
On this fourth night of Chanukah, President Zelenskyy and other will honor the miracle of this story of survival and resilience, says President Biden. "The light will remain and prevail over the darkness."
"The main issue during today's talks is to strengthen Ukraine next year to move forward to fight for our freedom and independence," says President Zelenskyy at a White House news conference with President Biden.

There's a brief technical glitch while President Biden answers the first question and he begins to hear his remarks in Ukrainian in his earpiece, causing him to pause.
"We have the same values of the sanctity for life," replies President Zelenskyy when asked what is his message for the American people. "I really want (to) win together. Not want. I'm sure."
Asked what's the fair way to end this war, President Zelenskyy responds a "just peace" means no compromise for the soveriegnty, territorial integrity and freedom for #Ukraine.
The longer the agression lasts, there'll be more parents who live for the sake of vengeance, adds President Zelenskyy.
The war could end today if Putin had any dignity at all and pulled out his troops, says President Biden.
Putin "continues to be wrong" and he "cannot possibly win this war," adds President Biden.
"He's gonna fail. He's already failed because he knows he's not going to occupy all of Ukraine," Biden says of Putin.
Patriot battery "is a defensive weapon system. It's not escalatory," says President Biden.
"This is a historic moment," says President Zelenskyy of being in the White House to talk to President Biden amid the #UkraineRussiaWar.
"He might want to invade" other former Soviet republics, says Zelenskyy of Putin.
Four key areas of allied military support for #Ukraine, according to Biden: Air defense, advanced artillery, armored vehicles and ammunition. "We're going to give Ukraine what it needs" to defend itself and succeed on the battlefield.
Alliance not looking to go to war with Russia and to not have World War Three, concludes Biden.
