Haven't been on here recently, mostly because I've been furious with this and also that, and I realised that this place is so serene and lovely I didn't want to inject anything revolting into it. Anyhoo. Today I make a start on the annual LEGO animation for my Relax With Bricks channel. *knocks everything over, shakes fist at sky*
@EmmaKennedy thankyou, you just made me chuckle out loud 😀
@EmmaKennedy I did exactly the same thing yesterday. I fumed and wailed in the other place then came over here to The Little App of Calm.
@EmmaKennedy
Bloody hell just stepped on one of those critters, thanks Emma.
@EmmaKennedy bought myself these little beauts to make Christmas Eve
@EmmaKennedy Just getting my feet wet in the Mastodon pool too. Checking out your RWB YT channel.
@EmmaKennedy I wondered what was occurring. I missed you. Hope things are more settled, but in this vexatious world that might not last for long. Chin up.
@EmmaKennedy I assume that CW could also be used as a “rant warning” so you can vent.

@EmmaKennedy
I've noticed many big and influential accounts, after a few weeks here, have just gone straight back to Twitter. None of their content is posted here now, so the mastodon migration has become somewhat of a fail.

I guess reach and likes are all important for many, not so much discussion and learning 🤷‍♂️

@EmmaKennedy

Obvs there were the few high profile Twitter exits over its policies pandering to far right and disinformation campaigns, but maybe the likes of Elton John and Jim Carrey weren't social media brands to start with?

It was relatively easy for me to boycott the place. I can see why it isn't for others though.
