a large takeaway was that many of the questions women ask themselves when thinking about entering politics are questions that men don’t ask.
this isn’t necessarily because of differences between men and women, but because of the norms and traditions our society holds. women aren’t conditioned to seek power in the same way.
getting gender parity in government isn’t about fairness. it’s about reshaping the norms that define our country, truly representing a diverse electorate, and bringing new ideas to the table.
