jagTIL that GitHub does a rel="me" link on your profile for your personal website, so that if you put your Mastodon profile URL in there, it marks it as verified in Mastodon.
aegilops@j00bar and GitHub are working on adding extra places for social links on your profile too, including Mastodon.
