Heya, my #trans siblings. Today's question is brought to you by the festival of lights:

What winter holiday traditions do you happen to follow?

#QuestionOfTheDay #hannukah #christmas #kwanzaa #wintersolstice #saturnalia #stlucysday

@flag I am a follower of Santa Claus and therefore participate in the Christmas tradition.

Stockings hung by the chimney with care. Good deeds are done to help those in need. Family (chosen and traditional), friends, and other loved ones brought together for food and gifts. Songs sang loudly and often off key.

Joy brought to the world in the darkness of winter and comfort brought to those in the dark of their lives.

Be good humans and remember to love each other.

@flag For reasons, the "traditional" Christmas holiday often gets delayed for my family. So... for Christmas eve, #Jolabokaflod, even though I'm not Icelandic, because it's just that beautiful an idea, and requires very little effort.
