Also, growing up on Trek was a gateway to me becoming an actual #Marxist in my teens as both posit a future utopia. The beloved #FullLuxuryQueerSpaceCommunism that you also find in #IanMBanks #CultureNovels

Look, it's late and I'm a silly old fool but...
... my entire life, I have worked in one way or another to try and make the Trek / Culture future come true. And now I'm chatting to you, on a platform based on something *you* created that is a seed of that future. I find that incredible.

Me too. I sense something in the air. Everything feels a bit Russia 1905 or Paris 1871. Or, here in the UK, 1926.
If only I had #HariSeldon's brain so I could work out which domino would lead to the least apocalyptic toppling of tyrannies.
