My oldest coherent memories of any #FIFAWorldCup date back to 1986 when Diego Maradona led Argentina to victory. It was impossible not to fall in love with that football genius. We all wanted to be like him when kicking the ball around. Lionel Messi was not yet born then. 36 years later it is him that the entire world is in love with and #Argentina is once again the champion. And rightly so. I expect at least a week-long celebration in Argentina. Tricampeones!

@pavelvond can we tell ,the first #worldcup won without shadows?

The first one, I remember well, in Argentina 1978 under dictatorship. Arg- Perù 6/0..they need 5 or six goals for to go forward.
The second one....well😹 one goal is called " the God's hand". It's all.

This is clear, won with a great player, #messi , second best Argentina player, for my opinion.

@Gabu1110 Valid points. And I guess the debate as to who deserves to be called #D10S more - Maradona or Messi - will be settled only after Messi is done with representing Argentina. Apparently, he still wants to keep playing for Albiceleste as champion and I can understand that. It would be a pity to stop his goal count for the national team at 98 :)
