Look, the new regime at the Other Place seems simple to grasp. If someone does journalism that upsets or mildly peeves Elmo, he’ll banish that person from the piece of global journalism infrastructure he controls.

If news organizations find it tolerable for their correspondents to have to bend their work to stay in the good graces of a billionaire industrialist: well, good luck to them — and congrats to their new editor, Elon Musk.

News orgs that feel otherwise should contemplate the abandonment and ostracism of that platform, tout de suite.
