Ok I'm officially sick of windows pulling shit like reinstalling edge and nagging me to buy office every update.
I need recommendations for a linux distro with the following features*
- easy for newcomers
- easy to run Windows software
- good perf/support for games (incl windows ones)
- decent community in case i have questions
*I'm asking for recommendations based on my listed needs. Don't recommend me one just because it's your favorite.

I like Linux Mint. ZorinOS is afaik a good Newcomer distro, Pop!OS too. I'd recommend to look if you can replace the Windows Software you use with Linux Software. Mostly, there is a Software center with a GUI. A lot of steam games run on Linux because of proton on Steam. Skyrim works even Vetter
There is an Option to dual Boot, meaning you can install Linux next to Windows and you can choose which to start. I'd also recommend that.
