After this story published, I received dozens more emails from people telling me how they were fed bad information from their contractor on gas vs electric.

@RebLeber Between heat pumps and induction stove tops, there's basically no need for gas in a modern home. Sadly some states are mandating #naturalgas hookups under the guise of "#energyfreedom"
