@MaureenMastodon nice to meet you. Cheer was one of the two reasons I was on the birdsite.
I’m on season 6 of allstar. Getting a little disenchanted though. We are probably going to take a step back next year.
@Bahstonmama we switched from rec to Allstar in 2020 and have been really happy. Went to ECE (Tewksbury location) and this year she’s hoping for a worlds bid. I see you also are in GS, I used to be the Volunteer Support Coordinator for our area, and leader for three troops. Eventually my daughter wanted to spend more time with cheer so we left gs. It’s a great program though! I had hoped to see more cheer related threads on Mastodon, Im super new here (joined today).
@MaureenMastodon small world! I am trying to rebuild our SU after Covid, so I guess you can say I’m the acting SU coordinator. I really like GS but it’s such a struggle sometimes with parents and involvement. But…I’ll take my GS parents over most of the cheer parents any day! 🤣
