Daimajin Kanon 1x10 "No Work" shout by noelct

It is a bit wandering, and I'm sure it's driven by budget considerations, but I don't mind that this series is willing to have an entire episode without any monster battles (sans the brief shadow play fantasy) to just let the characters drift and have fun, as Taihei keeps trying to clumsily draw Kanon back into singing, this time bonding with a down-on-his-luck man recapturing his dream to be a musician after a string of layoffs. It's overly drawn out when you know where it's going, but it's charming and sweet. I also love the little comedy bit of Taihei briefly transforming while drunk.
