That's worthless. FB still collects everything about you like your real name, what pages you visit (like buttons), your messages, photos, etc.

The only way to stop facebook tracking is to leave facebook and block the like buttons in uMatrix or such.

Also, the only punishment for violating this is a fine, which big corporations don't care about.

I agree to the first part, deleted my account years ago.

Max GDPR fine is 20 Million EUR. Per case. Each user is a case.

764 M - Amazon in Luxembourg
225 M - WhatsApp in Ireland
90 M - Google in France

When it’s in the billions, they do care, trust me. And no, it’s not the only punishment. If they don’t comply they must not operate their shit in EU any more.

And you think the courts have time to evaluate the case of every user? No, the corporations will take the relatively rare and tiny fines on the chin as they always do.
