As a biker myself I am very disappointed to hear that #AnneSacoolas will effectively walk away from causing the death of an innocent young man. I can understand the judge felt she had no option but to impose a suspended sentence but I have huge empathy with Harry Dunn's parents.

I do wonder how she can look her children in the eye and not feel shame that she took the life of another mother's son. If she truly felt shame she would have come back to the UK to face her sentence.

@lizneedhamSTAR Rightly or wrongly, causing death by bad driving in the UK rarely results in custodial sentences: fines and disqualification from driving for a while are by far and away the usual outcomes.
